Venue Owner Terms

These terms supplement the Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy and apply when you claim or manage a venue listing on GlutenFreeMap. By submitting a management request, you agree to the following.
1. Accuracy of information
You declare that you are authorized to manage the venue listing and that all information you provide — including the claim details, the proof-of-ownership document, and any later changes to the listing — is truthful, accurate, and up to date. You are responsible for keeping it that way.
2. Management does not influence the security score
Claiming or managing a listing does not change, improve, or influence in any way the venue's security score or any other trust signal. The security score is editorial and community-driven, is calculated using our own criteria, and is not for sale. As an owner you can keep operational details up to date (opening hours, phone, website, amenities, description, and photos), but sensitive changes — name, location, and photos — are reviewed before publishing to protect the safety and health of the coeliac community.
3. Ownership verification and document handling
To verify that you are the owner or manager of the venue, we ask for a single proof-of-ownership document (for example, Modelo 036/037, an activity or opening licence, a recent utility bill in the business's name, or a photo of the interior holding a code we show you). That document is processed solely to verify ownership and is deleted as soon as the claim is decided. It is never shown publicly and is accessible only to the review team. 4. Consent
By ticking the acceptance checkbox and submitting the request, you consent to the processing of your data and the proof-of-ownership document for the purpose of verifying ownership, in accordance with these terms and the Privacy Policy.
5. Revocation
We may revoke management access at any time if the information turns out to be inaccurate, if we detect misuse, if we receive a substantiated ownership dispute, or for breach of these terms. Revocation does not affect the safety information or any other content on the Site.
6. Ownership disputes
If another person claims a venue that is already managed, we will review the evidence from both parties. During an active dispute we may temporarily pause editing of the listing. In the event of a tie or reasonable doubt, the current manager is kept.
7. Changes to these terms
We may modify these terms. We will post the revised version on the Site with an updated effective date. Continued use of the management features after notice of changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
