About the organisation

The Asociación Celíaca del Principado de Asturias (ACEPA) is a private non-profit, made up of volunteers diagnosed with celiac disease. With almost three decades of work and based in Oviedo, it is the reference association for the Asturian celiac community and part of FACE, the federation that groups one association per autonomous community.

Its goal is to help, support and improve the quality of life of everyone affected by celiac disease and other conditions linked to gluten or wheat consumption. To that end it offers dietary guidance from nutrition professionals, member discounts and agreements with partner businesses.

For eating out, ACEPA relies on the FACE Gluten-Free Catering programme and tools such as the FACEMOVIL app, which gives access to FACE’s list of over 16,000 gluten-free products and to guides of safe restaurants and hotels in Asturias.
